Researchers seek participants for MS films survey
June 27, 2017
Researchers at Trinity College Dublin have developed four short, animated films about multiple sclerosis. They are looking for people living with MS, people who work with them, and their relatives, friends, and loved ones to complete short surveys on the films in order to learn from their experiences of the films and to inform the development of future resources for people with MS. Participation in the survey will researchers evaluate and improve the films.
The surveys can be accessed at the below links until July 17:
How does MS affect my brain?
How does MS affect my cognitive function?
What is cognitive reserve?
How can I keep my brain healthy?
Participants will be asked to provide personal information before watching a two-minute animated film. A few short questions about the film will follow. The survey should take about ten minutes to complete. Participants are asked not to watch the film again before taking the survey. The researchers want to understand what participants recall from the film. Participants are asked to answer all questions from memory. They are also asked to complete the survey in a distraction-free environment where you can see and hear the film.
Responses to the questionnaire are anonymous, and all data will be treated in the strictest confidence. The researchers aim to publish the results in the form of reports, scientific journal papers, and conference presentations.
