Last year was a big year of growth and camaraderie for our affiliated support groups. You all met on a monthly basis to chat, share experiences, and so much more. We heard stories about art projects, game nights, educational speakers, and field trips. The list goes on and on. You all listened to one another’s concerns and brainstormed solutions. You constantly shared laughter and offered caring shoulders to lean on when it was needed most. When the holiday season was upon us, group members gathered to ensure that everyone celebrated the holidays surrounded by friends and family. What better way to acknowledge a year of camaraderie and positivity than to come together to have a party and a great deal of fun? With a little help from MS Focus, many support groups around the country were able to do just that. We’ve selected a handful of groups that sent in fantastic photos of their celebrations to share with all of you! The MS Lunch Club in North Las Vegas, Nev., had a truly memorable holiday party, complete with dozens of donated gift baskets that were raffled off as fun freebies to group members. Red Santa hats were plentiful and each table was adorned with red and green. Every attendee took home a festive goodie bag filled with candy. The MS Lunch Club usually meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Town Center Lounge II, 2992 West Cheyenne Avenue, North Las Vegas, NV 89032.
