In the MS community, it serves as a reminder of the importance of inclusive education and access to care for all individuals living with multiple sclerosis.Educational WebinarsIn celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, MS Focus: The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation hosted two educational webinars. Dr. Mirla Avila presented The Importance of Early Diagnosis and Treatment in MS and NMOSD. An educational presentation discussing how early detection and therefore, treatment can improve long-term outcomes and lifestyles of diagnosed individuals. Dr. Angeal Chinea led a Spanish speaking presentation, Recada y pseudo-recada en EM y TENMO. Dr. Chinea presented on relapses and pseudo-relapses for individuals living with MS or NMOSD and helped to educate them on how to identify and manage each effectively.
