She serves as the Assistant Dean of Health Sciences at Yeshiva Universitys Katz School of Science and Health. Her research focuses on neurocognitive function in neurologic disease, including multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, and aphasia. She also serves as a clinical and legal consultant and lectures on neurorehabilitation strategies in national and international settings.Maggie Courier is a retired high school english and journalism teacher in Margate, Fla. Diagnosed with MS in 1998, Maggie worked in marketing for MS Focus before becoming a teacher. Currently, she volunteers to use her communication and writing skills as a volunteer, contributing to MS Focus magazine both in print and online. Nichole Goble is the current Director of Community Initiatives at Caregiver Action Network. She has been with the organization since 2017. As part of her role as director of Community Initiatives, she manages activities and programs with nonfunding community partners and moderates caregiver roundtables and learning collaboratives. She brings a unique perspective to her role, being an individual with a disability that has been on both sides of the caregiving relationship. Brian Hutchinson is the Program Manager of the John A. Schafer, M.D. Multiple Sclerosis Achievement Center at Dignity Health Neurological Institute. Brian oversees outcomes measurement and the exercise components of the Centers wellness programs, as well as, advocacy efforts around day wellness programs for people living with MS. Kara Skroupa, diagnosed with MS in 2011 and lives in Miami Beach. Kara is a practicing attorney who enjoys spending free time reading, traveling, dancing, exploring genealogy and learning new languages. With much fortitude and enthusiasm, Kara wants you all to see that We are not limiting our lives! She is a member of the MS Focus Lived Experience Advisory Panel and recently joined the organization's Board of Directors.Nicole J. Tester, received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Florida. After working in research for several years, she pursued her masters in occupational therapy at her alma mater. She has practiced as a neuro-occupational therapist for UF Health Rehabilitation at the Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases in Gainesville, Fla., for eight-and-a-half years. She has been certified as a MS Specialist by the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers for the last five-and-a-half years.Shambreki Wise is an author, entrepreneur, public health professional, Gates Millennium scholar, mother, and lover of travel. She and her 6-year-old daughter, Sandy, have created the Sightseeing with Sandy project. The Sightseeing with Sandy website contains resources that supplement the book series, such as a blog for parents wanting to travel with children, additional travel pictures for kids to see, and fun recipes from around the world that families can prepare and eat together.msfocusmagazine.org 4"
