His training includes Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University with specialty training in Chiropractic Neurology from Northwestern Health Science University. Certified multiple sclerosis specialist through the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. Chaifetz has completed courses on impairment and disability and serves on the Medical Advisory Board of MS Focus: the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Dan and Jennifer Digmann have lived with MS for more than 30 years. Jennifer was diagnosed in 1997 and has secondary progressive MS, and Dan was diagnosed in 2000 with relapsing-remitting. They wrote the book Despite MS, to Spite MS. Both Dan and Jennifer are members of the MS Focus Lived Experience Advisory Panel.Joanne Fortunato is a retired computer technology teacher in Venice, Fla. Diagnosed in 2006, she uses technology to cope with the many difficulties that MS can present. With more than five years of experience in her new field, she brings a unique perspective to treating the mental effects of autoimmune conditions such as MS, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis, drawing from personal experience with MS and Crohn's disease.Buse Sengul is board certied in neurology and graduated from Dokuz Eyll niversitesi, Tip Fakltesi in 2013, in Izmir, Turkey. Dr. Sengul completed a residency at Temple University Hospital. She is currently the MS Neurologist and Neurology Residency Program Director at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Fla.Ben Thrower is the medical director of the Andrew C. Carlos MS Institute at Shepherd Center. He previously served as the medical director of the Holy Family Multiple Sclerosis Institute in Spokane, Wash. In Spokane, he was the chair of the Inland Northwest Chapter of the NMSS. In 2000, he was awarded the Norm Cohn Hope Chest Award by the National MS Society, recognizing his work with the MS community. In 2005, he was the first physician inductee into the Georgia Chapter of the National MS Society Volunteer Hall of Fame. Dr. Thrower has served the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation for many years as Senior Medical Advisor."
