Cherie Binns has been a registered nurse since 1973. In 1994 she was diagnosed with MS, and received the MSCN certification nine years later. Carlos MS Institute at Shepherd Center inAtlanta, and the senior medical advisor for MS Focus. He is also a Clinical Instructor of Neurology at Emory University and participates actively in clinical research. He completed both his internal medicine internship and neurology residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. Daniel Kantor (@KantorNeurology) is the Neurology Residency Program director at Florida Atlantic University and president emeritus of the Florida Society of Neurology. He is board-certified in both neurology and headache medicine, and is a proud member of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation's Healthcare Advisory Panel. MeganWeigel is an advanced registered nurse practitioner at Baptist Neurology in Jacksonville Beach, Fla., where she specializes in the care of MS patients. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla., where her research focus was preventive healthcare in MS patients. She was elected to a three-year term for the International Organization of MS Nurses Board of Directors, and she also serves on the Clinical Advisory Committee and as research advocate for the North Florida Chapter of the National MS Society. She is an active speaker in the region, both to patients and health care providers, on topics related to the care of people living with MS.
