b'MS Focus ActivitiesJulio Lopez RosendoNominated by Annmarie PassaroPaulsboro, N.J.My anc has been with me seven years helping me mentally and physically. I get very depressed and cry a lot. Also I cant take care of my home due to MS. Ive had it now for 23 years. I couldnt make it without his support. Im very thankful and grateful that he cooks, cleans, fixes the home, drives me to doctors appointments, and was with me on life support. Nobody else helps me. Im blessed to have the best caregiver ever. Tricia FeaginsNominated by Brad FeaginsOmaha, Neb.My caregiver is special to me because besides caring for me, she is a fantastic mother to two children and my wife, and care partner. She is special in that she has been with me for more than 30 years and has known from the beginning I had MS but did not know we would go through the cane stage, the scooter stage, and now the wheelchair-bound stage, and all the difficulties those bring. Throughout this whole time, she has given me the best in care; she has listened to me about this disease, seen what it does to a person, still cares for my extra needs, and is happy with a not typical life. The greatest gift I have ever been given is for her to be my best friend, and life and care partner. I am truly blessed to have her in my life. I know I can face the obstacles MS brings with her by my side. Susan MorahanNominated by Carolyn BeedhamFt. Pierre, Fla.I nominate my neighbor, Susan Morahan, who has been my lifesaver for almost 20 years, more since my dad died and mom had macular degeneration which was too severe to drive me. Mom had lost her car due to an accident and she couldnt afford another. Thats when Susan stepped in and took us to our appointments, store, hospital, etc. When my mom passed away in 2020, Sue became my only local family, transporting me to doctors appointments, and the store for groceries. She took me to surgery, waited and visited and picked me up later, and cared for me when I got home. msfocusmagazine.org 24'
