She serves as a member of the MS Lived Experience Advisory Panel for MS Focus, and is the Patient Healthcare Liaison for the organization.Marijean Buhse is a clinical professor at Stony Brook University School of Nursing, Long Island, N.Y. She is also a nurse practitioner focusing on the care of people and families with MS. She has been an NP in MS for more than 20 years and practices at a large MS center, South Shore Neurologic, where she evaluates and treats persons with MS from adolescent to the elderly. Her research focuses on treating and educating older persons with MS and their family members, so they can live the best life possible with this disease.Matt Cavallo is a patient experience speaker, author, and podcaster who motivates audiences worldwide with his personal patient experience and genuine story-telling style. He provides care to patients at Advanced Neurology of Colorado. Dr. Miravalle is a board-certied neurologist who sub-specializes in multiple sclerosis. Seth Morgan is a board-certied fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2004 after serving for more than 20 years in clinical practice in the Washington, D.C. area. After being forced to give up practicing medicine in 2006 because of his MS, Dr. Morgan has been an advocate for people specically with MS and for people with disabilities in general.
