Participants embarked on their adventure at the Port of Miami andvisited the eastern Caribbean islands of St. Kitts, St. Thomas, and the Bahamas islandof Nassau.While sailing, Dr. Ben Thrower, medical director of the MS Institute at Shepherd Centerin Atlanta, along with staff members from the Shepherd CenterColby Doepel, NP-C;Ian Flannery, PT DPT; Anna Berry, PT, DPT; and Emily Cade, M.S., CCM, CRC, CLCP presented educational programs about managing MS and MS symptoms.
