b'MS Focus ActivitiesMS FocusedSupport Groups Pass MilestoneMS Focus recently reached a milestone and is now supporting 209 active support groups.Passing 200 groups marks the achievement of a goal set at the end of 2018. We were so excited to hit the goal of 200 groups aliated with us, actively working in theircommunities, said Natalie Blake, Director of Program Services. That constitutes more than7,000 active members in 42 states. On average, we onboard 25 groups a year. Blake noted that when people call in to start a support group or to aliate with MS Focus,we get back to them quickly and explain the program to them. All we have to do is share theinformation about our program and and the support MS Focus provides to the groups and theydo the rest. Our group leaders are excited and they are dedicated to helping others with MS,Blake said.We are very proud of our support group team, Blake added, They travel, work with thegroup leaders, and talk to people who are interested in starting support groups.
