Based on the success ofthe pilot program, which was made possible withsupport from Genentech and Lyft, MS Focus willbe expanding the program in the coming months.Many individuals with MS use paratransit services provided through county transportationauthorities, but these services are unable to cross county lines. This creates diculties when aperson with MS lives in one county, but uses a doctor or infusion center in another county. Theprogram will assist individuals in that situation, as well as individuals with MS who dont qualifyfor paratransit, but need transportation to appointments.msfocusmagazine.org 44'
